Nigerian President Mohammadu Buhari has contributed to the dismissal of more than 20,000 teachers who have been exiled in Kaduna's northern province in order to be a teacher to others.
The governor of the province last week published a postgraduate papers on Twitter saying that the teachers had failed the fourth class test that was supposed to be made by 10-year-olds.
"It's sad that the lawyer can not handle the examinations that children should be doing, which is a great shame in the nation that continues to be this way, so I support the action taken against them," he said.
He said the teachers were dismissed but could re-apply to other professions so that they could perform some of their vocational skills but not teach.
However, he has added that 19,000 jobs have been received to fill out vacancies after the teachers have been dismissed for firing the test.
