Speaking to journalists today in Nairobi, Mbowe has reported that Lissu has suffered infections in the chest that threatens his life.
The poet said Lissu's condition changed every day so he assured the people that he was going back to his situation.
Lissu has been able to meet some of those who have visited him for the guidance of doctors who are treating him.
"Although there are many people want to see him but few are allowed to see him because doctors want to rest," said Mbowe.
