list of student who probably will lack loans from helsb

While a month left before the new year of study to begin university universities,

Some 16,000 of the 61,000 students who have applied for loans from the Higher Education Student Loan Board (HESLB) are in danger of missing even before the exercise begins with their request for information.

However, senior board officials said the students still have the opportunity to adjust their information despite the application window closed last Monday.

HESLB CEO, Abdul-Razaq Badru, speaking to Nipashe for telephone yesterday, said until the last day of application on September 11, a total of 61,000 students had applied for a loan from the board for the coming year 2017/18 lessons that will begin in November .

He said among them, 16,000 students had minor failures in their application, with about 45,000 students having completed the reports of the application.

"The students are still allowed to adjust their information because the application is being done online." The Board is still making an analysis, "said Badru.

The director mentioned the flaws that have appeared to many students who apply for a loan including non-binding certificates, enclosing unsatisfactory certificates, and some of the death certificates of mail are not guaranteed by the Registration, Filter and Guarantee Agency (Rita).

He said the board is still underway and the pupils' report will be completed until October 2 and the names of the graduates will be eliminated.

Badru said pupils whose form had been identified as having problems, was used for sms and should be adjusted.

He added that October 10 the names of students who were credited with loans would be known.

The Higher Education Students (Design), through its Chairperson, Stanslaus Kadugalize, made a request today to HESLB to provide the opportunity for all those who failed to fill out the forms, to make the necessary adjustments.

"It is possible that those who have mistakenly filled out those forms come out of the difficulty of living so much of the failure to afford the use of the network," he said.

"To avoid abandoning the target, We ask Helbb to look at the matter with the second eye, to give them a chance at once."

He said it was unlikely that pupils who failed to fill out those forms were the ones who needed more than the suppliers of the forms.
