As communicated, on September 7, 2017, The President of Tanganyika Law Society (TLS) and MP for Singida East Constituency, he was shot multiple times by unknown gunmen in Dodoma, Tanzania. Following the incident, the TLS President was rushed to a Regional hospital in Dodoma. Few hours later he was transferred to Nairobi, Kenya hospital for further emergency care.
As communicated, The TLS President, Tundu Lissu is continuing to receive medical care: and was once intubated and extubated. His prognosis is being promising; however, there are some complications emerging, such as infections.
